What Is Kaukab?

The word Kaukab means “planet” in Arabic. We hope to break stereotypes by creating original, beautiful Arabic designs and spread values of gender equality, love, dignity, and acceptance for all around the globe.

Join us in sharing love, dignity, and acceptance in a wearable form!

Jamal Mashal

I’m a software engineer who grew up in Jerusalem and I’ve lived all over the world. I volunteered with refugees in Greece for 2 months in 2018 and that experience paired with my interactions talking with people about my time there gave me the idea for Kaukab. I hope to help break stereotypes, and share love, dignity, and acceptance in a wearable form thru Kaukab.

Marketing & Social Media

I’m an International Business student who grew up in France and is passionate about fashion, travel, and food. I spent one life changing day in a refugee camp with Jamal and that’s all it took to see how small improvements and acts of compassion and acceptance  can improve people's lives. And that is what we are trying to do with Kaukab.
